Marigolds are pretty all through the summer and way into the fall (if you keep them watered and deadheaded...). Otherwise... well, you know... mums.

My black eyed susans are still looking pretty. Maybe you could pick up some of those for next year.Marthahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15293816902877287168noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-21452752.post-87582359696969456122007-08-26T20:25:00.000-04:002007-08-26T20:25:00.000-04:00Mums the word.... and the flower I would chose als...Mums the word.... and the flower I would chose also.judi/Gmjhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08758419906885139018noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-21452752.post-12391693772403599432007-08-25T21:39:00.000-04:002007-08-25T21:39:00.000-04:00How nice. They come in so many beautiful fallish colors! I will soon be putting them in the baskets on my front steps. Maybe you need to get some too! If you plant them in the ground they will come back the next year, but they don't usually flower until late summer....just when everything else is dying!Rachelhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08494061549313899425noreply@blogger.com
