After leaving the fair, we drove through Syracuse looking for Dinosaur BBQ. Syracuse is a very confusing city to drive in. We stopped and asked for directions a couple times, but to no avail. Finally we found a nice man driving a police car. We asked him for directions and he hemmed and hawwed trying to explain to us in the easiest way how to get there. Finally he gave up trying to explain it and said, "Follow me." (This is different; following a police car instead of being followed by one.) So we followed the officer down different roads and side streets (we definently would have never found it) till we came to the BBQ place. It was closed. It was Labor day and the restaurant had set up at the fair. Now what? Well, one of the guys that Adam had asked directions from, had warned us that Dinosaur might be closed, and had suggested The Spaghetti Warehouse. So, we asked the officer about that place. It turned out to be right around the corner, so we followed him there. With many thanks and a wave good-bye, we had finally made it. Dinner was about to be served. Now if you're ever in Syracuse, The Spaghetti Warehouse is an excellent place to eat. Just have fun finding it.

We went to the fair on the 2nd day. The sand sculpture wasn't as far done as this picture shows. I was disappointed in the butter sculpture. I've seen better ones. We didn't see a petting zoo! How did we miss that?
Nothing beats a 25 cent cup of chocolate milk!
I love the sand sculpture and i also love the chocolate milk. An ice cream is a good thing to buy at the fair, and hey, how about a nice baked potato?
Yes it was fun when we went there but a lot of things weren't finnished like the sand sculpture. All that was done when we went there was the roof, the chimney, and the the monster dude.
We weren't impressed with the butter sculpture either. The petting zoo was in the way back corner near the grand stand. The only reason we found it was cause we wanted to go to the demolition derby. And the sand sculpture was real cool. We didn't buy ice cream this time. We bought chunks'o cheese.
I didn't go to the fair, but it sounds like you guys had fun. We ate at the Spaghetti Warehouse when it used to be here. Yummy!
I didn't know we used to have one here. Was it in an old warehouse? I thought that part was pretty neat.
Yes...it was a good restaurant. Up near the train staion in down town Rochester. It was an old warehouse.
I almost mentioned the $1 baked potato.
I remember it being very good, and in an old warehouse that was decorated quite nicely. It also always seemed busy so I'm not sure why they closed.??
Maybe maintaining such an old building? Seems like it might cost a bit... especially to heat.
