Moving

Our closing date is set for Friday, which means we may be moving Saturday. Any volunteers to help? I have to work on Saturday (stink!) from 6:30-2:00, so I can't help too much in the morning. But if you want to help, call me up and we'll let you know when to be there! I'm excited, hope you are too.

Things on My Mind Today

too much snow...
I should be packing boxes...
what can I eat that won't make me feel yucky?...
why are people so wicked (school shooting in VA this morning)?...
weddings are floating in my head... four invites so far...
should I clean the bathroom today or wait till next week?...

Yeah, I have a head full of strange things. This list only names a few. I should get up and do something productive.

Punctuation Buffs Wanted

Hello there... This Saturday I start taking some really cool classes and I'm supposed to bring along a paragraph on any topic. This paragraph needs to be at least six sentences long and contain an introductory sentence and a concluding sentence. The purpose of the paragraph is just to make sure I know how to write properly. Well, I just wanted a little assurance of my punctuation and decided to post my paragraph just the way I wrote it so you all can critique my grammar, punctuation and spelling. So take it away... I think I did okay, but who knows... Maybe one of you was really good at English and has a little insight that I have forgotten. So here goes.

Life, for me, is about to change quite drastically. This past month my husband and I found out that we are expecting our first child. After experiencing a disheartening miscarriage in November, we were both a bit apprehensive when we found out that we were pregnant again. I felt that I needed to stifle any anticipation of becoming a mom until we were past the initial danger zone. Yes, dealing with morning sickness and a growing waistline should've been enough to counteract my biggest concerns; yet, it wasn't quite enough. It wasn't until this past Wednesday that I could feel at ease. Hearing my baby's heartbeat for the first time and realizing that he or she was truely growing inside of me was what finally made me relaxe. Becoming a mommy for the first time is actually turning out to be very exciting!

Now that I'm done I see a few things I could change. Do you see them too?

A Good Beat

Ta-da! A new post! Sorry for the lack of postings... I suppose I've had a lack of motivation for writing because of feelings of yuckiness and because of work. But today I shall tell you all exciting news. When I went ot the Dr's today, I heard the baby's heartbeat!!! It went ba-bump, ba-bump, ba-bump. It was pretty fast and sounded strong. The Dr showed me the difference between my heartbeat and the baby's heartbeat. Mine went bump... bump... bump... It was very cool to hear his little heart beating. I call the baby a "he" because I think it's going to be a boy. Hopefully, if it's really a girl, she won't have a complex cause I called her boy for the first eight months that I knew she was alive. Anyway, I couldn't help but have a huge smile on my face when I heard it... Awesome.

And more good news. I didn't puke this morning (not yet anyways)! I was kind of worried about eating my breakfast before puking, but since my Dr's appointment was at 8:45, I didn't have the time to sit around and wait to puke. This is very important news because for the last 4 1/2 weeks I've gotten sick everyday... Yuck. And the Dr said I can take Flinstones vitamins if the other ones still bother my tummy. So when I go to Wegmans today, I can't forget to buy some Flinstone vitamins.

I'm eleven and a half weeks and counting! Twenty-nine weeks to go...

Wanted: One Fine Hug

I am sending out a request for a hug. I seem to be in need of one.
