A Growing Baby

Isn't it amazing? I am fascinated by the fact that I have a little child growing inside of me... Each day getting a little bigger and developing new senses. My baby is fifteen weeks old this week and now has adult taste buds. I hope he or she likes chicken! I once again heard the heartbeat at the doctor's office yesterday and I scheduled for the ultrasound in June. I can't believe that by the beginning of June, I'll be 20 weeks along. I still haven't felt the baby moving, but I wait anxiously for the first time. There has been moments when I thought I felt it, but it always turns out to be gas... Adam seems to be getting more excited. As he watches my tummy get bigger, I think it becomes more real to him. I can see his anticipation growing which makes me smile. Soon it will be time to put away my corduroys and capris and head to the maternity section for some pants that will fit over my belly. I bought a few shirts last week, but I'm procrastinating about buying pants... Hopefully I still have at least a couple weeks or so.

Maybe soon, I'll be cooking up some good names. How about George Fredrick or Alice Louisa?

I never know whether you're serious or kidding when it comes to names... I remember telling Grandmanita that I was going to name our baby Anna Joanna Rosanna Susanna and she said "I dare ya!"

Whatever you pick will be perfect.

I'm so excited for you! I remember feeling all the same feelings as you such a short time ago. They REALLY do grow up fast! I'm so happy there will be another little baby in the family, although I probably won't get to see him/her very often.

It's been to long to remember all the feelings, some I can, like waiting to feel the first movement. You have a great support system in your family!! Thanks for sharing your joy with all of us bloggers too. Names, hummmm......

How exciting!!! :) The ultrasound experience is soooo cool! I brought Heather and Brian to Jessi's. That was way cool. Hopefully Adam will go along with you. Talk about it becoming a reality!!

Names.... Zion Prince, Tiago Davi (sounds like chee-AH-go dah-VEE), Imani Amore (i-MON-ee UH-more - I hope I got that right! :)... Those are some names Heather picked out for her babies.... Of course she has to somehow convince her hubby to be, who is yet to be discovered!!!

Just remember with names - ya can't please everyone! But they eventually come around. :)

Oh Bethy,I can't wait to be an Aunt!!I get to be Aunt Stephie right?!!How fast is the Heart beat?I was just wondering because they say if it's faster it's a girl and slower it's a boy.

I must say I agree with Martha on the names part!! ;D

Steph- Of course you can be called Aunt Stephy! One can never have too many aunts.

Mom- I'll try to be nice to the little baby... But kids these days need to toughen up! (j/k)

Shelly- Heather sure knows how to pick good names... Maybe I'll ask her for a suggestion...

Aunt Rachel- You better come and visit me often! But we should definently makes dates and gatherings a priority.

Suppose if it's a girl, I could name it Judy after gmj...

LOL, Thanks for thinking of me, but NO, get more original than that. I do love the name Lily though, it can go with so many other names and it is such a beautiful flower. Lily Beth.... Hummm.
