A New Way to Shower

Next Saturday, I'm going to a bridal shower for an old friend of mine and his fiance. I always tend to get carried away with the packaging of shower gifts. I find the presentation to be the most fun part of giving away a gift. This time around, I had an extra jolt of creativity for some unknown reason and decided to make a "bouquet" of utensils in a nice vase, topped off with ribbons and bows. I am quite pleased with the results and here after will probably be stuck in a rut, as far as shower gifts go. After all, many lovely things can be put in a vase to resemble flowers. In this vase is a spaghetti scoop, ladle, fish turner, spatula, some kind of fork, a spoon rest and a sink mat. I have thought about sticking some real flowers in there too, but I don't know how much room I have left for much greenery. Anyway, I think it was a stroke of "genius" and may even be the star of the show... Okay, probably not... But it did turn out nice. How do you like it?
