Busted!

There are crickets living in my walls and Louis (my cat) has a broken tail. I don't know how either of those things happened, but they did and do. What can we do about them? I don't think you can do much for a cat with a busted tail, except treat it real gentle and don't pull on it... Does anyone have any suggestion for getting crickets out of walls without making a mess? It's kinda annoying when you can hear them chirping in there. And my poor kitty...

Probably Molly closed his tail in the door. Poor Louis. Lots of cats have suffered the same injury. He'll be okay but part of his tail may fall off some day.

Enjoy the crickets and pretend you're camping.

One of ours got his tail slammed in the door when we were growing up. The bone was sticking right out the end. It eventually dried up and then I think the cat just chewed the dead part off. Remember that Martha?

I don't know how those crickets find their way in, but we get quite a few of them in our basement. I guess like your mom says...if you can't get to them just enjoy them and pretend your camping under the stars!

Ew! But his tail is busted a third of the way down... It just kinda hangs limp there and he doesn't want us to touch it. I hope it doesn't fall off... Then he'd look really funny!

Tales of cat tails :) Funny folks you all are. Is the tail broke or dislocated? Do crickets eat cloth or is that just moths? :)

I agree with your Mom about enjoying the cricket noise and pretending you are camping. I am so sorry that your kitty has injured his tail.
