On Sunday, Adam and I had Joshua dedicated to the Lord. It's actually more like dedicating ourselves to raise him in the Lord. Pastor Ray prayed for Joshua and for us and it was sweet. We have a big responsibility ahead of us and sometimes it can be a daunting task. I am so glad that we can lean on Jesus to give us the wisdom we need as parents. My hope and prayer is that someday Joshua will give his heart to Jesus and want to serve Him as king of his life.

I like that kid. It was funny when he tried to take Pastor Ray's glasses when he was praying. I shouldn't have had my eyes open I know, but it was worth it... to be evil! >:D
That is so cool that Jimmy got to be there when Josh was dedicated. You are right, Bethany, it is a daunting task, but I'm really glad it's so much fun, too:)
We can't do it on our own that's for sure...lot's of prayer!
Joe, most people have their eyes open during a baby dedication. How else would we see the cute things babies do when their parents and the pastor havetheir eyes closed? And how would Grandma get a picture if she wasn't looking?
