Hey Mom, What's That??

Today was this winter season's first day of accumulation. The snow was 2-3 inches deep by noon. When Josh and I left this morning there was no snow, so upon our return home, it was quite the treat for the little guy. After all, he doesn't remember last winters' snow. He was mystified by the white ground... He stepped (or rather stomped) into the snow, bent down cautiously and raked his fingers across the cold snow. Interesting. Good thing his mittens were handy, because then he could hold the snow and see how it tasted. I'm pretty sure he liked it. Time to break out the snow suit!! (If you are wondering what happened to his lip, he did that at Grandma's. ;)

If Caleb saw this he would suggest moving to Sodus. We had a little snow and the boys went out for about 20 minutes, and it was almost gone. It may have melted, but Caleb was eating a lot of it...

I'm glad Josh got to enjoy it! After my boys came in, I thought camera, I forgot the picture!

David has loved snow since he was Josh's age. He would have made a great Eskimo! Looks like Josh is going to love snow too. Good attribute if he plans to play hockey some day.

Isn't it fun seeing their reaction to the things they either don't remember or have never seen? I loved that.

Aww Josh's first snow!!How cute!!I was just wondering did you have to tell him he could try eating the snow or did he just think of that all by himself? What fun this winter holds for you.You can now become a kid again and go sledding, make forts ,and make snow angels with your boy!!
