The Fashionable Way to Wear Boots

I need help. I'm always confused with the way boots should be worn. Do you tuck your pants into your boots or do your pants go over them? Which way is more stylish? Which way is more practical? I need to know these kinds of things if I'm ever trying to be one or the other... And what if you just want to go shopping... Are you allowed to wear boots with your favorite corduroys? I think the kind with fur at the top are cute, but they don't seem very practical. It seems to me that if you were to were some like that, you would definently have to tuck the pants because not tucking would make your pants bulge at the bottom. But tucking looks funny or at least makes me think I look funny. What's a girl to do???

PS That's an Ugg boot, compliments of Heather. I like it, but it's like $280. That's a little high.

I meant $190...

Boots are to wear out on the hills when you are sledding, in the driveway when you are shoveling, back and forth to the house when you are stacking wood and for keeping in the car in case of emergencies (like if you drive your car into the ditch at church like Mike B.). Stylish boots are not ususally practical.

oh but those uggs are stylish and practical! dontcha know.\
i would wear my pants in if they were uggs and I was of proper weight. and I would wear them out of the boots if i was.....say sledding, don't want the snow to go in my boot. but I just love the pic.... soooo want those! sooooo never gonna happen. *sigh* life is still good.

no...You tuck your boots if you are sledding...otherwise snow up the pant leg.

Yeah, I liked the boots in the pic, but I am sooo much more practical then to go and get some of those. Those are my dream boots (hee-hee) so don't worry Mom. What I would really like to know is... Can a girl go shopping in boots or is that totally against the rules?

I'll prolly get a cheap pair from Target, Wally World, or Payless... But then again, the snow has melted. So maybe I don't need boots?

or... you'll borrow your mom's boots...

I've seen people wearing SLIPPERS shopping so why not boots? Then again, I'm probably not the right person to ask. Heather would be a better choice - she's up on these things and I'm pathetically way out of style! UGH!!

I say if you're going to wear stylish boots, you definitely tuck your pants into them, otherwise why wear them? For sledding, shoveling, and stuff like that you should get warm boots, which I still like to tuck my pants into I guess, so that my pants dont get so wet on the bottom. And why not wear boots shopping? I wouldn't wear them clothes shopping because they'd be a pain to take on and off while trying on clothes, but they're perfectly fine to wear in Weggies.

People wear uggs (or the fake ones) because they are VERY warm and attractive! They seel fake ones for a lot cheaper at pay less and stuff though.

I don't like to wear boots when I go shopping. They are loose and clompy (ya know, they go clomp, clomp, clomp down the aisles.

Hey you don't know me but I was just googling boots and came across this blog. I just figured this out a couple of weeks ago for myself.

But yes you do wear fashionable boots over your jeans but they have to be skinny jeans. Otherwise it will look funny because your pants will bludge out and be all wrinkled. I realized it because I tried tucking my open end jeans into my boot and it looked really lame. Then I realized why they started selling skinny or boot leg again. It's because it is style now to wear those and then wear boots over them.

I'm happy to say I got two pairs of skinny jeans for a cheap price at american eagle and now my boots look good with my pants inside of them. I bought my boots last year at Jcpenney for 60 dollars. I guess they look sorta like uggs.

Anyway I hope that helped! :)
